One Minute Piano - Lesson 19
One Minute Piano - Lesson 19
In this lesson you will learn another right hand melody with more tied notes.
Remember, a curved line connecting 2 or more notes of the same pitch represents a tie.
When 2 noted are tied together, you play the first one and hold the second note.
In Lesson 20, I will teach you the left hand chords that go along with the melody from this lesson.
In Lesson 21, you will learn how to play the melody and chords together.
And in Lesson 22, I will play the melody and chords from Lesson 21 in a relaxing solo piano arrangement that will allow you to just listen to your lesson material.
Sometimes it’s good to just relax and listen.

The video lessons at One Minute Piano are designed to help busy people of all age and skill levels learn how to play the piano.
Chords are the key component to every song ever written. In order to get an in-depth understanding of music, the study of chords is imperative.
Why should you learn piano at One Minute Piano?
Many people today don’t have time to attend piano lessons in person — nor do they have the time to practice an hour every day.
The video lessons at One Minute Piano are designed to provide short bursts of instruction that can be learned quickly.
Even though I will be uploading a new one minute piano lesson every day, you can progress at a pace that is comfortable for you.
Each video lesson will feature On-screen EZ Read Sheet Music with the letter name of each note displayed inside each note head.
This will reduce the time it takes to learn how to read sheet music from the usual 3 to 5 years, to a matter of just a few months. In fact, many students are up and running within a few weeks.
At the bottom of every video lesson, I will include an interactive piano keyboard displaying blue keys to represent right hand notes and gold keys to represent left hand notes — thereby making it much easier and faster to distinguish right hand notes from left hand notes.
To keep each video lesson as short as possible, commentary will be kept to a minimum, which won’t be a problem since each lesson is designed to be extremely intuitive.
Of course, if you have a question, please post it in the Comments Section. I will respond to all comments within 24 to 48 hours.
