Rollbak Tonneau Retractable Bed Cover - Rolls Up When Braking or Stopping

The Rollbak G2 Retractable Tonneau Cover rolls up with a slam when stopping or braking normally. I found that the latching system when exposed to hot climates weakens and starts giving way. The close tolerances necessary to keep the cover latched while the truck is in motion becomes loose enough to give way during braking or stopping during normal driving. The latch points or stoppers are also designed incorrectly. They lean towards the front of the truck meaning that it lends to the problem when the latching system becomes weak due to heat on materials not designed for these hot climates. The design of the entire product does not do well in hot climates such as the southern states like Florida. Additionally it does not do well during the summers for states midway on the east coast. A covered truck bed gets extremely hot during summers especially in the southern states like Florida. To rollbak's credit, they honored its 2 year warranty by replacing the entire system on August 23, 2016. Its been less than one year and the entire system failed. It is useless because the cover will not remain closed or latched for the reasons I pointed out. I now have to go back to them and see what they can do. The latching system can't be replaced because it has been riveted under the cover; rollback has to replace the entire system rather than fix the part that is defective which is unfortunate.
