Chaos - The Sedimentary Lines of the Grand Canyon, Op 237

As some of you may know, we bred poodles at one time. We sold a pup, Marco, to a lady from Santa Fe, NM, and he was too big to ship by air. So, we met the pup’s new owner in Flagstaff, AZ and delivered him. On the way back, we went to the Grand Canyon so my son could see it. I was struck by the random shapes of the rocks, and to some extent the layers of different colored sedimentation layers. Thus, the inspiration for this piece.
