extremely rough "rap song" which came through me this morning.
Apologies to any offended by my use of the "N" word. Again, it came through me. Also, to any offended: I am a fat, adopted, Asian, leper with a tiny penis, ask yourself if you would want to trade lives or oppressive family histories with me? I agree it's not a word I have any right to use and I don't use it lightly. I do not promote name calling or labels as all of the above labels which fit me well are still socially stigmatized against. Completely acceptably. I am in awe at how masterfully African Americans have been able to reclaim the power of that word for themselves. I applaud the feat and would never intentionally do anything to lessen or disrespect that. Growing up adopted I got to pretend my dad was God or even better, Michael Jordan. AS a child in therapy, I drew a picture of my family. They were white and i was black. I don't even remember. I do feel the power of the word was used in this case to better the advancement of all humans against oppression (& impending slavery); I hope this instance is forgiven; given the times and the intention. Given my history, i don't think I'm capable of racism. Nonetheless, I apologize to anyone I have offended. I'm pro-free speech, not hate-speech. And stopping EVIL in it's tracks is not hate-speech.
