China Spies on Americans through Caribbean Phone Networks

China is suspected to have used mobile phone networks in the Caribbean to monitor U.S. residents, according to a mobile security report.

British news outlet The Guardian cited the report in a Dec. 15 article, revealing that China exploited vulnerabilities in the global telecommunications network to target, track, and intercept phone communications of U.S. phone subscribers.
