A star glistened in the sky
the night that Christ was born.
A tear glistened in her eye
As Mary rocked his tiny form.
The light of faith glowed on the hill
Where slept the woolly sheep.
The light of faith glowed in the heart
Of Joseph as he watched him sleep.

Resplendent glory spanned the sky
When sang the angel choir.
And still expands to fill man's heart
With spirit's brightly burning fire.
May we as one this Christmas night
Remember and rejoice,

For we, as those who saw the light,

Wendy passed away in 2006, but her memory lives on.
