The Republican Senate Abandons Trump, But Rand Paul Defies The Party Line

The Republican Party is undergoing a Civil War. The Establishment delegation (which is a vast majority if we are being honest) has surrendered the election and chief among them is Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. He has urged that no one dissent to the electors on January 6th and the likes of Mitt Romney are all too happy to return to the 'business as usual' controlled opposition of yore.

The Senate Hearings today were very important to put the evidence that has been ignored on the table so that this information can be used if a Senator joins in with the likes of Mo Brooks or Marjorie Taylor Greene in dissention (not to mention the 125 other Republican House members who signed on to the Texas Lawsuit from last week).

One Senator who has feigned allegiance to the cause is Rand Paul. He was vocal at the hearing claiming that the election was flush with fraud and it happened in "many ways". As these hearings progress, more evidence will be brought to light and Ron Johnson may change his opinion as he chairs the committee overseeing the probe into the election.

Ken Starr also had some damning words on Pennsylvania at the hearing as well.
