The world owes you NOTHING.

The only thing you owe to the world is LOVE.

Respect and love are not reciprocal. They are given with no return expected. If you have this backwards you will always be disappointed in humanity. When you deal with people, you… deal with people.

This is a very trying process. It is in us to demand love and respect. But the fact of the matter is we have no right to demand it. Love and Respect are NOT reciprocal. If that was the case we wouldn’t have dictators, cruel individuals, or hurt folks. If love was reciprocal, we could walk up to those mentioned and show them respect and love and they would automatically do the same… but we all know that this is not the case.

It takes us as entrepreneurial believers to show respect and love to all, before they ever give us anything, good or bad. The hard part is, when those that are hurt don’t show the same respect or love. This is where the fight happens in us. We decide and IT IS a decision, to respect and love them no matter their response… Yes way easier said than done. But when you develop this muscle your character will be tested and proved. At that point you will lack nothing.

James 1:4 But let perseverance do its complete work; so that you may be complete and whole, lacking in nothing.

Today determine that you will be the change agent. You will show respect to all and give love freely. This doesn’t mean let everyone walk all over you, Love as you love yourself. If someone hurts you, seek God and ask for Him to work that pain out of you and ask God to bless those that hurt and use you. This will definitely take some work. But commit to it today and grow through the process.
