Massive leak exposes details of nearly two million Chinese Communist Party (CCP) members

A massive leak has exposed a register of the details of close to two million members of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The leak shows that there are members of the CCP who are working all over the world, and it also highlights how the party is ran under China's leader Xi Jinping.

The leak also highlights the register details of CCP members, including members' names, party position, birthday, ethnicity and national ID number.

“It is believed to be the first leak of its kind in the world,” Sky News host Sharri Markson said.

“What's amazing about this database is not just that it exposes people who are members of the communist party, and who are now living and working all over the world, from Australia to the US to the UK,” said Markson.

“But it's amazing because it lifts the lid on how the party operates under President and Chairman Xi Jinping,” stated the Sky News host.
