Securing The Bale (Step 2)

After the spears are fully inserted into the bale, take the safety strap supplied with Hay Valet, and attach the one end at the D ring on the passenger side, keeping your strap high on the bale, come around the bale to the drivers side, attach the other hook, pull the slack through the ratchet and ratchet until tight. Very tight! Secure the remainder of your strap in a way that it will not come loose and drag on the ground.
