After Manchurian Incident, 1931, Japanese government started to concern the next big war against UK and US, so ordered the people to simplify the life, to save all of materials for the military usage. This simple radio was made in such an environment, so some call this A PATRIOTIC RADIO, or COMMON 4 TUBES RADIO since all 4 tubes, and other materials also, were the cheapest.

Nowadays not so many radios above are remained for the poor product condition, once broken many have been into garbage, mostly the difficulty of repair work.
