Deschutes Jubelale Festive Winter Ale 4.0/5

Another one for the Christmas /Winter Season festival series. This one is from our friends up in Bend Oregon, The Deschutes Brewings Jubelale Spiced Winter Festival ale.
On the nose she has that rich roasted aroma from the barley. On the initial hit she comes in rich and full. The chocolatey hit is right up front and prominent. She runs medium fast thru the middle, dry across the palate and finishing up dry but dirty, reminiscent of a smoked lager. A nice solid beer .
The ABV is 6.7, the IBUs are 65 and the SRM by my eye is 85.
