mkversion - A Shell Script to create sequentially numbered versions of a file

The purpose of this script is to create sequentially numbered copies or versions of a file. This script can create up to 10,000 versions of a single file. The latest copy of the file has the lowest number following the file name. The oldest version has the highest number following the file name.
