Footage shows US Marines involved in rescue operations in Burgaw, North Carolina, in response to the flooding caused by Hurricane Floyd. Shows partially submerged homes, buildings, and vehicles; a stranded pig standing on a mobile home front porch, a stranded horse standing on a farmhouse front porch, and a second stranded pig standing on what appears to be a submerged car; motorboats tied up to partially submerged homes that people are inspecting; the flood water covering the bottom of a road sign, a North Carolina Department of Forestry sign and several mailboxes; Amphibious Assault Vehicles (AAV7A1) moving through the flood waters during the day and at night and used to tow other vehicles out of the water; and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) assisting a male patient.
