Map review:

Subway Redux is a very faithful recreation of the original AvP classic multiplayer map by Rebellion. Like many other singleplayer maps made by Windebieste, Subway Redux is a skirmish map and has the player surviving against endless hordes of aliens. The difficulty is fairly low when compared to many of the authors other skirmish maps, unless you come across a facehugger or get cornered inside the main building. Some areas of the building are actually inaccessible to the npc aliens, which allows the player to survive indefinitely. In my playthrough I chose to keep moving even though I could have permanently stopped at the computer area/front desk for safety.

Overall this is a fun map and definitely worth playing.

Note: I'm using some HD textures via Yaji's High Quality Resolution Textures v2 and my Blood n' Guts mod for the gore.
