Smelter Droid - Morgan

Say Hello to Morgan. When you play the video, you will understand how he was named.

Morgan Does the following:
• Speaks the time on the hour.
• Speaks Good Morning, Good Afternoon or Good Evening on the half hour based on the time of day.
• Says 30 random phrases when you walk by him.
• He is aware of the date and time so he will wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday, Happy Easter etc.
• I enlarged his recharge coupling to house most of the electronics. On his recharge coupling there is a small 1-inch OLED display to allow for displaying the time and other menus that are displayed when specific switches are selected.
• He has switches for selecting ‘Set Minute’, ‘Set Hour’, ‘Disable Motion’, Disable Night Audio’, ‘Demo Mode’ and an ‘Increment/Decrement’ for changing the time when the desired menu is displayed. Note: The ‘Disable Motion’ switch and ‘Disable Night Audio’ was is a must if you want to stay married.
• He has eyes that are W2812B leds that blink at a random interval. I changed them to green so they would show up on camera. When they were yellow it looked odd on an iPhone camera.
• His chest area uses W2812B leds to backlight the chest cavity.
• His mouth uses W2812B leds to emulate talking.
• I made a decal sheet for his graphics and I printed them on waterslide decal paper. I will attach the decals on a subsequent post with some pictures.
