Texas State Legislator Wants to NEUTER Castle Doctrine!

Texas Representative Teresa Meza doesn't think you have a right to shoot someone who breaks into your home. In fact, she thinks that "someone stealing a lawn ornament doesn't mean they deserve the death sentence," as she puts it. No, she's sympathetic to home intruders. The only reason they might be armed is because they're scared that YOU might be armed, you know. That's why she wants YOU to HAVE TO PROVE that you have EXHAUSTED EVERY OTHER escape/mitigation before you have the right to defend yourself and your property. I'm not even kidding. She said that. The sad part is she JUST won re-election and you guys in Texas can't vote her ass out until next year. Sucks to be you!
