Politics 101: Green New Deal

Something like this on its surface sounds great. The vast majority of us want to preserve our environment, and that's something admirable and necessary in order to keep this world a healthy and thriving place to live. However this is not the way; it will destroy American jobs and Families, it will cause the price of gas to Skyrocket making it in affordable for the average American to keep fuel in their car or truck. It will make it far more costly for businesses to transport their product to retail stores which of course will cause those stores to increase the prices of these products. We could end up looking at 15 to $20 a gallon for gas just to get to and from a store to pay $10 for a gallon of milk. And all for at best, a point 1% Improvement on the climates average temperature over the course of 30 years.
