Diagnosing Briggs & Stratton Intek engine failure.

I originally thought after recording this video that I could reuse the block, I did a closer inspection and found when the rod broke it did in fact knock a small hole/crack in the side of the block rendering it useless, so having to replace the whole crank case (instead of the sump originally thought) as well as the piston and rod I came to the conclusion that replacing all these parts was not going to be worth it considering parts would likely be getting up into the hundreds of dollars and new engines are anywhere from $400-$500, so it would be better off to buy a new engine at that point.
