Breaking News: Texas Sues Michigan, Georgia, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania Over Election!

Shortly before midnight yesterday, Texas state attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit with the US Supreme Court (SCOTUS) against the States of Michigan, Georgia, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.

The suit claims that these states violated their own election laws as set forth by their state legislatures and therefor violated the elections clause, the equal protection clause, and the 14th amendment of the US Constitution.

The suit asks SCOTUS to prevent those states from selecting electors based on the illegibly conducted elections and instruct the state legislatures to either send no electors to the electoral college or to select electors based on their authority under the US Constitution.
