Help Identify This Yelping Canine

Warning: The sounds of this canine sound very sad but whatever it is, it has returned 3xs over many months. So, it isn't trapped or badly injured as I first heard it in the summer, then early fall, and now on Dec 7th. We do have wild coyotes, I was told by animal control. But anyone know what this is? Please rumble and help me identify the animal. It moves away every time we approach it.
