Yummy Stuffed Peppers!! Recipe...

Sizzling sweet green peppers stuffed with a white rice and ground Turkey breadcrumb stuffing and topped with marinara and a melted mozzarella- panko crumble.
Clean and slice peppers in half, then blanch for 3-4 mins. Prepare baking dish with a coating of olive oil and panko crumbs. Place balanced peppers in the baking dish and put a a few drops
Of olive oil and 1/4 pat of butter in each. In a skillet toss in a small diced onion, 2diced celery stalks and a few cloves of garlic, add 1lb ground Turkey or beef and sauté until cooked, keeping the heat on low/simmer, add 1 cup of cooked white rice and combine well. Then add 1/2 cup of water and 2 tablespoons of butter and 1/2 cup of regular bread crumbs. Cook on low while constantly stirring for 5mins. Season to taste . I use 1/2 teaspoon of bells seasoning and some garlic powder, salt & pepper. Fill peppers with stuffing and top with marinara. Bake on 350 for 45 mins. Remove from oven and top with mozzarella cheese, panko crumbs and a pat of butter on each to make it nice and crispy. Cook on 425 for 10. -12 mins. You can omit all the butter for a lower fat version.... but butter makes everything better!!!!
