Eel is nocturnal and prefers to sleep in a secluded place during the day. By their nature, they are voracious predators with powerful teeth. The diet is based on small fish, crustaceans, and mollusks. They will not miss the catch entangled in fishing nets. Lacking good eyesight, eels prefer to lie in wait for prey in ambush, because thanks to their excellent sense of smell, they feel it from afar.
