Nostalgia Drag Racing by ADRA. A short lived organization. It was to be a nation wide series, I believe this is the 2nd or 3rd event. My 21 yr. old son drives the Blue 38 Chev 4dr. seen in video on his 21st birthday. He came home from the hospital after being born in this very same car. Top Fuel, Funny Cars, Gassers, Super Stocks, Super Shift Cars, Wheelstanders, Jets, Fuel Altereds, Don Garlits, Arnie Beswick and more..The 38 Chev usually ran mid 13's and we entered the only class available (for Fun) with no chance...We drove over 700 mi. one way to race it. It had a couple back fires on the way and only could run low 14's. When we got home we found the HEI dist. cap contact button spinning around with the rotar almost falling off. Embarrassing, lucky it ran at all. I think this was the last complete ADRA race, the one after it did not have the cars show up. The ADRA officials seemed disgruntled about inner problems at the time at the track.
