How To Remove and Replace a Corner Turn Signal Light - 1999 Subaru Outback

"If your blinker blinks fast then one of the two light bulbs is out and the blinker corner turn signal light will have to be removed in most cases to change the bulb. However, sometimes the blinker bulb can be removed without removing the blinker light module itself. If the blinker bulbs are reachable then turn them counter clockwise for removal of the bulb. Fixing the light bulb will fix the problem of the blinkers blinking fast.

If the light bulb is the wrong voltage, or the wrong size, or differs in major ways than the original bulb, then the blinkers will stop working, or one blinker will blink twice as fast as the other blinker / corner light. Sometimes braking or turning on the headlight will conflict with how the corner turn signal lights blink relative to how much the new bulbs deviate from the original.

In any case, there are times when the corner turn signal light needs to be removed and replaced. So, this video will show the corner turn signal light removal and replacement. For example, front end damage to the car will typically take out the front bumper cover and usually one of the two corner turn signal lights. That would require a corner turn signal light replacement instead of just the corner turn signal light bulb.
