Fire and alcohol ink art

My son and I wanted to try something we saw online. The finished product looks awesome once I put white paper behind it!

This video was made in 2016 and I have since changed a bit how I do this awesome art form. I no longer use the rubbing alcohol unless I am "painting" with it, the straight ink shows such a vibrant color, they are fantastic as suncatcher/window hangers. I also use a UV resistant gloss spray over my "fire art" now to make it last for many years.

P.S. the alcohol bottle is not in danger of being too near the fire, promise! this angle makes it look closer than it is :)
