POD to isolate the sun in sky image sequences

Use of proper orthogonal decomposition to isolate the sun in sky image sequences. This method removes all moving phenomena, leaving the solar disk only. The resulting image sequence can then be subtracted from the original sequence to leave an image sequence that contains only clouds.
