This is the full length video from the Alamo City Trump Train / Latinos for Trump partnership that happened in San Antonio, Texas, on Sunday, November 1st. This was the last Trump Train event held in this area prior to election day. Trump Train groups from all over the area, came together to create the largest Trump Train in San Antonio's history. While not as large as some held in the Rio Grande Valley or Miami Florida, it was still a very large event to manage.

Over 1,000 vehicles showed up to participate, but the parking overflow area at Cowboys Dancehall was able to handle the crowd and more. It took nearly 75 minutes, with the help of off duty police officers, to handle the traffic jam and empty the parking lot. Well, empty it all except for a couple of hundred cars who stayed behind and one pickup truck that had a dead battery, that is.

This weekend's event was held at the Cowboys Dancehall, currently limited for business due to the COVID-19 restrictions on such businesses. Off duty SAPD and other police officers, including a few from the Texas TABC (Texas Alcohol & Beverage Commission), were on hand to assist with the traffic nightmare that such a crowd potentially could create. They were also working the crowds, keeping a sharp eye out for troublemakers (who did show up later in the day). See the last 3 minutes of the video for information about this happening.

[Update: The trumpet player who played the national anthem in this video, was Erick Matta. Erick also contributed some of the footage & photos used in this video. - Lee]

The event started at 3pm and the last vehicle didn't depart until 4:15pm. It took 2 hours for the lead vehicles to run the route and return to the starting point. An hour and 10 minutes later, the last car straggled in. There were reports of dangerous driving by anti-Trump cars and multiple reports of a Hyundai car brandishing firearms at the cars in the Trump Train. One car was shot at, a car with 3 females in it. Really brave, they were, right, shooting at unarmed ladies? Info from that incident is included towards the end of this video.

In this video, we showed an overview of the event, from start to finish, with a handful of in-person interviews. All of the aerial footage from the drone is our original content, as are the interviews and a few other scenes. Much of the ground level footage on the scene, or out on the road, were contributed by other participants.

One of the persons we interviewed, was a Salon Owner from Redondo, California, who had flown to San Antonio looking to relocate her business, after that state's governor shut her down 3 times during the Covid-19 virus. Guess she should have offered Nancy Pelosi a free hair-doo, then she could have stayed open? You can hear and see her feelings on this topic during the interview.

These Trump supporters displayed lots of patriotic spirit during the event and returned back afterward for candidate speeches and to celebrate.

I made this video for Alamo City Trump Train and Latinos for Trump groups, who were the organizers. I am a Part 107 certified commercial drone pilot.

I do take requests from folks that want to see different types of aerial photography / videos from areas they might not be able to access from the ground.

I flew the DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone for the aerial portions of this video, recording in 4K / 30fps. The DJI Osmo Action Camera was also recording in 4K / 30fps. Video Editing software was Wondershare Filmora X. Music was from Epidemic Sound.
