I didn't die...barely!! | Paqui One Chip Challenge

The Paqui One Chip Challenge 2020 version features the Carolina Reaper which has a rating of 1,569,300 Scoville units. To give you some kind of comparison, a Jalapeño sits at 5,000 Scoville units and a Habanero sits between 100,000-300,000 Scoville units.

So this is considerably hotter!!

I'm not a huge fan of Latin spice but I do eat Thai spice frequently. But I've never done anything terribly spicy. This is probably 200x more spicy than the most spicy thing I've ever done.

It's not pretty, but I ate it and sat for five and a half minutes suffering in the burning flames of hell before succumbing to the milk and ice cream my brother prepared for me and my niece wanted me to have so badly.

But since I'm typing this I obviously survived. I don't think I'll do it again, but to be honest, I never thought there was a snowballs chance in hell that I'd do it the first time...so who knows!
