One man sings Handel's Messiah part 14a: There were shepherds abiding in the field, part 14b: And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, part 15: And the angel said unto them, part 16: And suddenly there was with the angel & part 17: Glory to God.

There were shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flocks by night.
