Weaner Pigs Enjoy Afternoon Nap Out of the Rain

Pigs are creatures of habit. Depending on the time of day you can make a very good educated guess as to whether they will be wallowing, eating, foraging, or napping. Early in the afternoon, especially if it has been raining, you will find them in their shelter cuddled up, trying to dry off and taking a nap. They are very hearty animals so the rain does not bother them much. They'll be out in driving rain when I am seeking shelter. But even these pigs need a break from the rain sometimes.
