Start by washing your hands with anti-bacterial soap before touching your piercing as otherwise your hands could transfer bacteria to the piercing, which could then lead to infection. Then take a cotton swab or cotton ball or something similar, wet it with warm water, dab the piercing gently, add a touch of anti-bacterial soap, gently wipe the piercing and surrounding areas, and then rinse away with warm water. Dial and Dr bronners tea tree oil soap have been my go too for piercings for years. If you find that dial is too drying use the dr. Bronners tea tree oil soap it’s in the orange bottle.
