Netflix's Blood of Zeus review - Don't put your **** in crazy

Blood of Zeus is Netflix's newest animated series. Produced by Powerhouse, the same company that made Castlevania and Seis Manos. This series is a reimagining/amalgamating of ancient greek legends. Our hero Heron is completely made up but all of the essential elements are there. Zeus disguising himself to bone every hot chick he sees, like the captain of the football team at a costume party? Check? Hera ruining the lives of every woman who even looks in Zeus's direction? Check. Zues's love child and mother left in abject poverty and defenseless as local mobs abuse them? Check.

While not an actual myth from ancient times, there is a lot of love for those stories in Blood of Zeus. This series, while not as good as the previous two is a pretty decent watch for anime fans as well as fans of classical mythology
