The CHA SS17 is a standalone stainless steel whip made of 10 sections which extend to 17' and collapses to 27". The whip can easily operate a full quarter wave from 6M through 20M with manual adjustment without the need of a loading coil or can be combined with the CHA MPAS 2.0 as main radiator.
The SS17 is a rust resistant vertical whip equipped with a standard 3/8-24 base mounting. If combined to the CHA MIL EXT 2.0 (8.8' long), a 25.8' long vertical antenna can be created.
