We needed to select a Supreme Court Justice. It's not about partisan efforts. It's about the integrity of our judicial system heading into a major election. There was no way we were accurately going to select a president should the issue head to the Supreme Court, without a new Supreme Court Justice being selected. It is all over but the crying.
