AN EXTREME 'corsetter' has decided to revamp her look in time for Halloween - by transforming into the Corpse Bride. Mother-of-one, Sarah Vaeth, is best known for shrinking her waist to just 15 inches through the sustained wearing of tight corsets. The 44-year-old artist controversially wears her corset for 16-20 hours every day to achieve her dramatic waistline. Sarah told Truly: “I get hate from people who don’t know me and don’t know anything about 'corsetting'. They’re looking for someplace to blow off steam and some of that has landed on me.” For Halloween this year, she decided to incorporate her corset into her costume and transform into the Corpse Bride. With the help of special effects make-up artist Taelor Cansler, she reveals her makeover to her husband and six-year-old daughter. Sarah said: “I like to work the corset into a costume and this is an opportunity to do it in a much bigger, better way than I’ve ever done. I like pushing past what anybody would think is cute. So [Corpse Bride’s] aesthetic is what appeals to me.”
