Shaily (Shy-lee) Hakimian social media journey started back in high school, when her online reality competition needed an online hub for their activities. She ran that hub as a Myspace group, crafting her social media skills long before the term was even coined.

As a first-generation American of Moroccan and Iranian heritage, she loves connecting with people, figuring out who they are, and what they care about. This is why she naturally gravitated to social media and teaching.

She’s earned her teaching degree from Indiana University and have used her skills in various capacities including facilitating her own workshops and incorporating technology into the classroom.
