SOUTH AFRICA - Cape Town - Proteas players interact with Laureus, Waves for Change, kids (Video) (wSH)

South Africa - Cape Town - 18 March 2019 - Proteas players spent the afternoon interacting with children that are part of the Laureus programme, Waves for Change, at Muizenberg beach. Waves for Change uses its surf therapy methodology to alleviate psychological challenges in the townships of South Africa – where 33% of children suffer from psychological challenges. Through the provision of surfing, psycho-education and the creation of safe spaces, Waves for Change promotes wellbeing in children and youth from unstable domestic and/or community situations.
