South Africa - Cape Town - 18 June 2020 - St john caregivers in Nyanga protest for better work conditions. Western Cape caregivers are protesting for work conditions, to be recognised as health workers in the public service and danger allowance during the covid-19 period and proper protection. St John Caregivers play a crucial and valuable role in ensuring access not only to vital health services but also social welfare, regardless of the ability to pay.
