SOUTH AFRICA - Cape Town - Real Jobs Summit ahead of Budget Day on Wednesday (Video) (BbJ)

South Africa - Cape Town - 24 February 2020 - Hundreds of people from all across South Africa travelled in the Caravan of the Xcluded to converge in Cape Town for a Real Jobs Summit. They will be gathering at Parliament to protest on Budget Day on Wednesday, 26th February 2020. Delegates from the Real Jobs Summit will take to the streets of Cape Town for a public march to Parliament on Wednesday to mark Budget Day and present a memorandum of demands around jobs and economic recovery to the Minister of Finance. The Real Jobs Summit presents the Xcluded an opportunity to discuss workable alternatives to the anti-poor ԧrowthՠpath government has pursued over the years. In effect, the Real Jobs Summit is a platform for debate on the kind of actions that are needed to get the government and corporations to meet the demands of the working class and marginalised majority.
