Life of a veteran activist and poet Kgositsile celebrated (xDV)

Mourners gathered at Joburg City Hall on Thursday to celebrate the life and times of internationally acclaimed poet laureate, Keorapetse Kgositsile. Artists, academics, politicians and struggle stalwarts praised 'Bra Willie' for being a grounded soul who had a rare talent of story telling even in most difficult of times. Kgositsile died after a short illness on Wednesday last week, and will be laid to rest in an official funeral on Tuesday
