The Grizzly Bear, Op 74

A large grizzly bear ambles along the shore of a small lake in the Sierra Nevada of Northern California.
Suddenly his attention is caught by a splash in the water. Trout! Dinner! He wades into the stream,
but his attention is diverted by his own reflection, and the trout makes a hasty retreat.
. Sadly, the trout is lost, so he returns to the bank, and his journey upstream in search of food.
This work won the “Story Song” Contest at fanmusic.com in November 2014, prize $100.
