Big Tech SHOOK By Oracle Bid For TikTok US Operations

Amid pressure from the Trump Administration and Congress over national security concerns for social media giant TikTok, Silicon Valley tech company Oracle has appeared as the front runner in a bid for ownership of the app's US operations. Microsoft appears to have lost the bid. The White House and foreign investments committees must approve Oracle's transaction from ByteDance before anything becomes official, but talks of this deal has shaken up other big tech companies including Apple, Amazon, Facebook/Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Google and the like.
