Moses Jenkins III Spartanburg County Sheriff

I am taking a very large step in my life and running for a major public office. I am looking to raise money for my campaign for Spartanburg County Sheriff, in Spartanburg, SC. I have always worked very hard throughout my life, and feel this job is the best next step to put all my experience together in one place. I am currently an armed private security guard and have worked in the security industry for the past 7 years. I also have been an educator in my community when it comes to understanding human rights, civil rights, and situation awareness throughout the upstate for the past 10 years. Everyone has always told me I should do something that's bigger then myself, but I never thought it was in my game of cards. Recently, I was offered the opportunity by different Spartanburg organizations to be a guest speaker for Abuse Awareness, victims of police brutality, firearm saftey, and more. When I hit the stage and began to speak about protecting my community and their assets, I felt right at home. I was so happy to teach citizens how to protect themselves that I thought to myself, how do I do this more often. That’s when I realized with a combined total of 13 years of business leadership and security experience and supporting multiple community events throughout my life, it all came together to do one thing...and that is to run for County Sheriff. In this position I can fulfill all my passions in life at one time. I will utilize my time and resources to educate the public to better protect themselves so they don’t fall victim to crime, to be a leader in the profession that I love, and to work closely with amazing people that put their lives on the line every day for us. This transition is a life changing event, and I could not be any happier than to complete my goal. Please help me in this journey by donating anything that you can.
