Breezy southwest winds will continue into the evening until a cold front moves in. Overnight we will see them subside. Tonight will have low temperatures in the mid to upper 40s. Tuesday will be a mostly dry day with the exception of the Northwoods. Highs will be in the upper 60s and a breezy southwest wind around 10-20 mph. in the evening, some light rain showers will move in. Most of the activity should be in the U.P. but some will drag across the Northwoods. Wednesday will be a touch cooler with highs in the mid 60s with partly cloudy skies and perhaps a stray shower in the morning. Thursday will be mostly sunny with highs in the lower 60s. The warmth is back and we surge to 70 degree highs by Friday. Saturday looks to be the warmest of the next 7 days with upper 70s to perhaps a few 80s. It does look like the above average temperatures will persist for a good amount of October based on the current outlook.
