Chicken's Danger Call (Please Stop!)

Chicken's Danger Call. The sounds chickens make have a meaning. Here they are calling an alarm signaling some sort of danger. Perhaps a predator like a hawk or cat. Hawks are usually the culprit since I often see them nose diving at my coop. I was actually in the coop filming when they started the screaming, so went out to check. I couldn't see anything, but once the girls get going with their panicked cries, they don't want to stop.
In the end, they trusted my words to them that all was okay and immediately shut up.
