RV Repairs: What it Takes to Bleed RV Brakes
4 years ago
40
Chevy P30 chassis motorhome from the mid-'80's with a the rear hard brake line blown due to corrosion. Patched the line with flare fittings and NiCopp line. The proportioning valve activated so it's time to get under the rig to open up and reset the valve so I can bleed the brakes. Tight spots, awkward angles and some sore muscles from all the trips under the RV but finally got the old brake fluid (yuck!) out and new, fresh fluid in the lines! I was going to do the front flex lines but was too tired and it was getting late.
Enjoy, sign up for my channel and I hope you get something out of my efforts even if it's learning from my mistakes!
