One of South Africa’s smallest premature babies, Baby Hope Daniels, celebrated her first birthday with her proud parents Lesley and Dorianne Daniels. Family and friends gathered at the Butterfly Educare centre in Kuilsriver for the birthday party after visiting hospital staff at the Kuilsriver Netcare Hospital. African Bank hosted the party for Baby Hope, who was born at only 24 weeks. She weighed only 300g when she was born on March 19, 2018, and after spending months in hospital she was discharged only days before Christmas of 2018.
