Las Vegas police say they responded shots fired report at a home on Cobble Creek Court near Torrey Pines and Alexander Road around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday. Upon arrival they were told someone tried to steal a car and shots were fired. However, the story changed and became more convoluted. While investigating the situation, they saw a device or item that looked like it might be an explosive.
