The Jost Heritage House

one of Sydney's oldest wooden structures in the historic north end. Samuel Sparrow, merchant and ship owner possessed the property from 1786-1787 the basement kitchen has been restored to its original 18th century style. Thomas Jost a Halifax merchant bought the property in 1836 and his descendants remained there till 1971.
